Part 1: Solomon Becomes King

As King David grew older, it was time for a new leader to guide Israel. Solomon, David's son, was chosen by God to become the next king. With his father's encouragement and advice, Solomon excitedly prepared to lead his people.

Part 2: Solomon's Special Gift

1 Kings 3

One night, Solomon had a dream where God appeared and offered to give him anything he wanted. Instead of asking for lots of money or power, Solomon asked for wisdom to lead his people fairly and wisely. God was delighted with Solomon's choice and gave him wisdom, along with wealth and honor.Solomon's wisdom became famous when he settled a dispute between two women who both claimed to be the mother of a baby. Solomon proposed a unique solution that would reveal the real mother's love for her child. He suggested giving each woman a portion of the baby, knowing that the true mother would step forward to protect her child. The real mother did just that, and Solomon, recognizing her love, gave her the baby. His wise judgment amazed everyone.

Part 3: Building a Beautiful Temple

1 Kings 5-6

Solomon wanted to thank God and decided to build a magnificent temple in Jerusalem. He gathered talented workers, beautiful materials, and lots of resources to create an amazing house of worship. After seven years of hard work, the stunning temple was finished. It was a symbol of God's glory that left everyone in awe.

Part 4: Solomon's Riches and Fame

1 Kings 10

As Solomon's wisdom and the splendor of his temple spread, he became famous throughout the land. Kings and queens traveled from far and wide to meet Solomon and marvel at his wisdom. They brought him valuable gifts and treasures, making him one of the wealthiest and most powerful kings in the world.
